Housekeepers
Traditionally a housekeeper is a person employed to manage all household affairs in an organised and proficient manner. Many households require this essential domestic assistance and reap substantial benefits by employing a live in or live out full time housekeeper.
A housekeeper like many other household roles can be tailored to each individual home. Often if a household has only one member of staff it will be a housekeeper. This can be either a live in or live out role. Marshall Harber take pride in the ability to source housekeepers who are willing to be versatile and who are skilled in many areas. It is possible to hire a housekeeper with other skills to compliment the role. Examples of this follow;
- Housekeeper/Nanny In conjunction with keeping the house organised, they can be available to step in and help with small children on nannies day off or when a full time Mum needs a break. They also work well in a household with older children to do the school run, oversee homework and to provide hot chocolate and sympathy after a long day at school.
- Housekeeper/Cook We have many housekeepers who have high cooking standards who in addition to the usual housekeeping duties can provide excellent healthy family food, catering to all tastes including special diets as well as providing for functions and parties in the home.
- Housekeeper/Ladies Maid We have several housekeepers who have also worked as ladies maids and are more than happy to provide this high end clothing care, along with manicures, hair styling and personal shopping alongside home organisation and the usual domestic duties.
- Housekeeper/PA There are many excellent housekeepers who have either a background in secretarial work or have grown into this role in previous households, and are competent to look after all household paperwork, diary management, travel arrangements and still be happy to do hands on housekeeping and cooking in both live in and live out positions.
