Marshall Harber is a dynamic household staff agency based in London and catering to clients globally. All our consultants have worked previously in domestic service and held household management positions giving them a unique understanding of the private staffing industry. We are here to provide advice and as much information as possible to allow you to make the right choice when selecting domestic staff for your home.
Suitability of Candidates
All of our candidates are invited to interview with one of our consultants and their work history is thoroughly researched by obtaining employment references. We will always endeavour to only submit CVs for candidates with the necessary capabilities, experience and character for the position being offered. Marshall Harber can also provide a criminal records or police check on household staff if the client will require one for the vacancy being offered. Please ask your consultant for costs and details on DBS checks.
Database
We have an extensive database of registered household staff developed over many years in the industry which allows us to select only the best candidates for your vacancy. CVs will not be sent out to clients unless our consultants are confident that they worth considering for the role being advertised.
Advice
Marshall Harber's consultants have many years of experience both working in private households and in the recruitment of domestic house staff. We are here to advise you on any aspect of the recruitment procedure. We can provide you with best practice information on interview procedures, market rate salaries, draft contract templates, security, as well as information on Tax and National Insurance issues such and how to go about setting up as an employer of private staff and managing your payroll.
Service Guarantee
Marshall Harber is confident that our consultancy service will result in a long standing working relationship between the client and candidate but to provide extra peace of mind we also offer a replacement guarantee on all permanent placements covering the first 12 weeks of the candidate's employment. The Service Guarantee is subject to our Terms and Conditions of Business and is not available on the placement of Temporary staff or Yacht Crew. Our aim is to build a committed relationship with our clients that results in a lasting relationship with their domestic staff.
Confirmation and Payment
Clients only become liable for a fee on our consultancy services when an offer of employment has been confirmed and accepted by the candidate, there is no fee for our services if there is no successful placement. Once a placement has been confirmed to the agency, an invoice will be raised for the consultancy services. Fees are calculated as a percentage of the agreed annual salary. Post Placement Policy
Marshall Harber's service does not end once a placement has been made. Our consultants are available to both clients and candidates alike for advice and we are always available to discuss any issues that should arise during the course of a candidate's employment.
