A prestigious private country estate near Swaffham, Norfolk, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Gardener and Estate Worker. The ideal candidate will not only maintain our exquisite 26-acre gardens but also be willing to travel to London for additional estate duties as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Formal horticultural qualifications and extensive plant knowledge.
- NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture and a chainsaw certificate are desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Care for lawns using large ride-on mowers, strimmers, sprayers, and other garden machinery.
- Perform basic maintenance on garden equipment.
- Utilize excellent horticultural skills to tend to herbaceous borders, cutting gardens, vegetable patches, greenhouses, fruit cages, and formal hedges.
- Assist with general estate tasks and various responsibilities around the Hall.

- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and knowledgeable about seasonal gardening requirements.
- Must have a clean driving license.
- Willingness to travel to London for work on occasion.
